Hello everyone. I've been getting some comment here and there, and been seeing some forum threads and what not about Nintendo's announcement of Star Fox 64 3D for the Nintendo 3DS.
In my last blog I left an update saying that their brief announcement may not have been confirmation that this will be an actual title. I feel that I need to explain my argument about this here.
Nintendo has only given us a brief announcement about the game and has released only a few screen shots about it. There was no mention of it at their press conference and there's no video demos yet. Not to mention there's no record of the game in Nintendo's game database, only on their temporary E3 website. To me that's a sign there's only a 50/50 chance this game is going to see the light of day.
Now, I'm a big Star Fox fan. Believe me I would love to see this game be released on the 3DS. My only concern is that Nintendo didn't seen to dive too deep into the Star Fox and Zelda remakes, which makes me skeptical. To me it's like "We got all these epic games coming out between this year and next year, and check out these massive launch titles for the 3DS... oh yeah and there as a Zelda and Star Fox remake on the side, but we don't need to worry too much about that right now."
Despite my arguments, we here at Starfox-Underground will remain hopeful about this title, and we will do our best to keep our members informed of any updates about this. And until any information is released, regarding if it's canceled or not, we will treat it as a confirmed title.

FINALLY!
Yes, announced today, for the first time since 2006 Star Fox fans will finally get the chance to pilot the Arwing in brand new video game. Currently there is very little known about the game so far, Miyamoto only had a small tech demo that he brought with him to E3 this year. But from what we do know, there will be a new helicopter vehicle and a new control scheme involving the Wii U gamepad. The game is also currently slated for a 2015 release.
StarFox-Underground will continue to post new information as it becomes available.
Found - Dinosuar Planet Gameplay Footage
Those of you that have played Star Fox Adventures most likely know about how the game was originaly developed as a Nintendo 64 title known as "Dinosaur Planet." Thing being is that available information about the original Nintendo 64 title has been scarce due to it being scrapped in 2000.
Today (September 10, 2012), a YouTube user by the name IOnEIFalcon posted an hour's worth of gameplay footage from the original unedited Nintendo 64 game. A very interesting find to say the very least.

Thank you and have a nice day

I'm pretty sure that the remake was confirmed... i'm not 100% sure, but think of it this way... if you weren't at E3, you dont know that much about the 3DS anyway, or how well its 3D is... nintendo isnt showing much video of gameplay because its 3D "can't be replicated on video' or some crap... but basically, we dont know much about the 3DS, but we know its coming out, and we dont know much about ANY of the games for it... just a few title names and companies working on it... sooo, i'm seeing a high probability of a Starfox 64 being on the 3DS...
Although i do agree with your hype thing... as Yahtzee said... [link]
